I'm a retired Headmaster and currently a director of a wine distribution and export company called Five Oceans

I started teaching in 1963 after gaining a B.Sc. degree and Diploma in Biology. Gave lessons in Biology, Chemistry and Physics mainly in private schools and taught for 40 years, the last 17 of which I was Headmaster. Took several cricket and soccer tours to the UK.

After retiring I decided to do something completely different and started a wine company called Five Oceans. We export containers of wine to the USA, UK and also do local wine distribution in Johannesburg, South Africa.

I play a lot of lawn bowls and have been President of my club. I am married to Brigid and we have three daughters, Heather, Gillian and Robyn.

Ran a number of marathons, including the Comrades in 1970 and 1971.

I have written a book called "My Changing Body" for adolescents in South Africa as well as the history of the Greenway family in South Africa - called "Seek Higher Things". Currently I have a novel called "Ant Cook and the Giant Sangoma", waiting to be published.

I aim to emulate Colonel Saunders of Kentucky Chicken fame and I think I am doing pretty well so far!
